After annoying my friends with my stories, they suggested I start a blog about the trials and joys of being a new mum in Hong Kong

And another one...
My cousin had his baby yesterday, a little Boy (or rather his wife did). The majority of my friends and family at the moment are either pregnant, have just had a baby, or are trying for one. Is it something in the air or have I simply got to an age where this is just what people decide to do?
For the last 4 nights I have a) not slept more than 90 minutes at any one time b) had to comfort a snuffling screaming thing every 90 minutes who is hungry, tired and ill and c) had no more than 4 hours sleep on any night as a result. And did I mention I then get up and go to work all day?
Why, oh why does anyone decide to do this?
As for divorce Magicman, an ill baby can bring you very close to it indeed.

it's our time of life.
sorry. at least you can play the same game as you have one of your very own!
or rather it's your time of life. By my time of life you can add IVF treatments into the mix. Something to look forward to there then!
It is, as Grande PoohBear points out, part of the grand cycle of life.
If you wait a little bit, people will start getting divorced. So there's always that to look forward to also
:-)
